The Position

WorqHat is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Testing and Quality Assurance Intern to join our Tech team. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge and experience in software testing and quality assurance, and will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of WorqHat's Drag and Drop and AI Platform. The intern will work closely with the development team to design and implement testing strategies, execute tests, and identify and resolve issues to ensure the platform's scalability and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced and dynamic tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the development team to understand and analyze requirements and design test plans and test cases
  • Executing functional, regression, and performance tests to ensure the platform's functionality, reliability, and scalability
  • Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects and issues, and working with the development team to resolve them
  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance
  • Participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Documenting and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test results
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to team discussions and decision-making

Requirements

  • Are available for the work from home internship for a duration of minimum 3 months
  • Internship Timeline: Internship will begin immediately
  • Internship Type: Work From Home, Part-time
  • Working Hours: 4-6 Hours a day, 22 days in a month (Total 88-132 hours in a month)
  • Laptop & Wi-Fi: Laptop & Wi-Fi should be available with the interns for working on the assigned projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development concepts and experience with no-code tools or platforms
  • Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Firestore
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and critically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools
  • Experience with software testing and quality assurance is a plus
  • A passion for empowering others to create and build with technology
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
