The Position

WorqHat is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack Development Intern to join our Tech team. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge and experience in full stack development, and will play a key role in building and maintaining WorqHat's Drag and Drop and AI Platform. The intern will work closely with the development team to design and implement new features, debug and fix issues, and ensure the platform's scalability and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced and dynamic tech environment and develop skills in full stack development.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining the full-stack application as per the design components and information architecture using EJS, HTML, CSS.
  • Integrating the frontend application with the application business layer using NodeJS
  • Ensuring best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
  • Developing and maintaining all server-side network components using NodeJS
  • Optimizing the central database and responsiveness to back-end request using Firebase and Redis
  • Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes
  • Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
  • Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions
  • Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support
  • Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas & preparing reports
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies
  • Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development
  • Resolving urgent web application issues outside of business hours

Requirements

  • Are available for the work from home internship for a duration of minimum 3 months
  • Internship Timeline: Internship will begin immediately
  • Internship Type: Work From Home, Part-time
  • Working Hours: 4-6 Hours a day, 22 days in a month (Total 88-132 hours in a month)
  • Laptop & Wi-Fi: Laptop & Wi-Fi should be available with the interns for working on the assigned projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development concepts and experience with no-code tools or platforms
  • Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Redis and Firestore
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and critically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools
  • A passion for empowering others to create and build with technology
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
