The Position

WorqHat is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machine Learning Intern to join our Tech team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, and will play a key role in building and maintaining WorqHat's AI Platform. The intern will work closely with the development team to design and implement new features, debug and fix issues, and ensure the platform's scalability and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced and dynamic tech environment and develop skills in machine learning.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features and functionality for WorqHat's AI Platform
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise in the platform
  • Ensure the scalability and growth of the platform by optimizing performance and implementing best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the platform
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and incorporate them into the platform as appropriate
  • Communicate progress and status updates to the development team and project manager
  • Assist in the research and development of new machine learning models and algorithms for the platform
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall direction of the project
  • Work on projects that involve natural language processing, computer vision, and other areas of machine learning
  • Develop and train machine learning models to improve the performance of the platform
  • Assist in the integration of machine learning models into the platform's existing infrastructure
  • Participate in data collection and preprocessing tasks to support the training of machine learning models
  • Collaborate with data scientists and other machine learning experts to improve the performance of the platform
  • Contribute to the development of API's and other tools to support the integration of machine learning models with other systems
  • Participate in the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in production environments

Requirements

  • Are available for the work from home internship for a duration of minimum 3 months
  • Internship Timeline: Internship will begin immediately
  • Internship Type: Work From Home, Part-time
  • Working Hours: 4-6 Hours a day, 22 days in a month (Total 88-132 hours in a month)
  • Laptop & Wi-Fi: Laptop & Wi-Fi should be available with the interns for working on the assigned projects.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong background in machine learning, including experience with popular libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
  • Familiarity with natural language processing, computer vision, or other areas of machine learning is a plus
  • Experience with Python programming and a good understanding of software development principles
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with Git, Linux and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as JavaScript, React, and Node.js is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Experience with real-world projects or projects in competition is a plus
