The Position

As a Developer Advocate Intern at WorqHat, your primary role would be to support and engage with developers, spreading the word about our incredible products and technologies. Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that developers have an exceptional experience using WorqHat's AI API products, fostering a thriving and supportive community, and shaping the future of developer relations at WorqHat.
  • Champion and maintain a top-notch developer experience for our AI API products.
  • Serve as the friendly face of WorqHat to our developer community, engaging with them on a daily basis.
  • Represent WorqHat in the developer community, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, code samples, and tutorials to assist users in understanding and utilizing our products effectively.
  • Cultivate and expand our community presence across platforms like Github, Discord, Slack, Discourse, social media, meetups, and conferences.
  • Foster strong relationships with our users through regular check-ins, community events, and providing support across Slack, Github, and social media channels. Contribute to our community's growth by creating engaging content such as blog posts, videos, and other resources.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to provide user feedback, influence product decisions, and enhance the overall developer experience.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to design and launch integrations that benefit our users.
  • Collaborate with the community and marketing teams to create community-driven content that resonates with our audience.

Requirements

  • Are available for the work-from-home internship for a duration of a minimum of 3 months
  • Internship Timeline: The internship will begin immediately
  • Working Hours: 7 Hours a day, 22 days a month
  • Demonstrable hands-on programming experience and solid programming foundations; you will be coding up to 70% of your time in this role
  • Can work with different codebases in different languages and deployment methods (think react, python, simple Web). Not necessary to have deep knowledge, but enough to set up some sample apps
  • Active in dev communities like Github or different dev focused slack communities. Open-source contributions are a big plus.
  • Able to communicate effectively with other developers with technical precision and authenticity
  • Passion for developer experience and community building
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse community of developers
  • Curious and having a get stuff done attitude
  • Interest in startups and Growing organizations from Zero to One
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools
  • A passion for empowering others to create and build with technology
